Total Knee Replacement (TKR) is a specialist joint replacement service offered by the Surgical Discovery Centre, in conjunction with the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital in Cambridge.

The procedure involves removing damages joint surfaces which can cause the animal pain and loss of function, and replacing them with a surgical prosthesis.

The surgery is carried out by Professor Matthew Allen in collaboration with the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital.
